The oylers are only the coolest softball team here in Ogden..ever!It all started when Timmy rawk was told the team he wanted to join was already filled with "talented" players, boy can i identify with that! Timmy set out to form his own team of people who just weren't making the cut but were equally as awesome. The oylers just wanted to play softball and have a good time and so they banded together to form their own team of friends. ![]() ![]() Today's events ********************* Pamper yourself for summer party:Everyone is welcome to come and join the festivities. ![]() yay my lovely friend Chelsi has so graciously loaned me her adorable notebook to use until i come up with the funds for a new computer. so hurray i can continue to consistently blog without having to commandeer someones computer or strain my eyes using an ipod. OI VEY i had no how much a computer was essential to my life until it was gone. all of the writing gigs -gone in an instant. but thank goodness for the kindness of friend because i am back for real real and nothing can stop my now. The sky is clear, the sun is shining, I'm wearing my my Diane Von Ferstenberg score from urban chic and eating donuts (from toppers) in the park. Life really couldn't get any better, OK if i a computer of my own stumbled into my lap i think it could improve my day just a little. Today i biked over to the hubby's work to hijack his computer and let the bean tour his job. she has been begging me to take her and its finally warm enough to let her visit this frigging warehouse. She loved bikes and hearing her squeal with joy and she enters a building filled with nothing but bike parts is priceless. oh the wonders of being three. In Ghana, students and faculty alike will participate in humanitarian projects including the distribution of bicycles (100% of which were donated by the Ogden community and later repaired by our good friends at the Ogden Bicycle Collective, Youth Impact, and Weber State) to women in rural areas to better enable them to gain upward economic mobility as well as to nurses for better physical mobility in reaching patients. Students will also be participating in clinical work to evaluate procedures that can be implemented in order to improve air quality in Ghana, as many workers work in toxic environments, such as tar pits, where their health is greatly compromised. Toxic environments like these contribute to a lower life expectancy and lower quality of life. ![]() I can not wait for winter to be over with, no more colds, no more bulky sweaters HELLO sandals and sundresses! I think the novelty of wearing leggings and high socks has worn off and my legs are starting to look a bit florescent. On the upside spring cleaning is upon us and i am thinking a clothing swap is in order. Anyone interested? I have some news! Indie Ogden and Urban Chic have been plotting a fashion show for some time now. It is finally time to announce it and i am so very excited. Were thinking an April spring show and we need some volunteers. If you'd like to model, play music, do hair or makeup or help with set up let me know at indieogden@gmail.com. on beautiful sunny days such as these it seems a terrible waste to remain indoors. I on the other hand will be using my nettie pot repeatedly and drinking tea to relieve my troubled sinuses. so For all of you not suffering from sinus pain put on your spring shoes and hop to it.
