Friday- give love, get love at 11:09 AM

My thoughts are with all of the people affected by the tsunamis and earthquake. Let us remember how fleeting life really is take a moment to let our loved ones know that we love them. If you would like to help with relief efforts Text REDCROSS to 90999 to donate $10.

Let us embrace the day and enjoy the sun and all of the wonderful things we are gifted with here in Ogden. Tonight there are a lot of shows happening so get out and make a new friend, get out of your comfort zones and perhaps meet that special someone but mostly DANCE!

The Storm Cellar- Captain crunch and the cereal killers featuring Beargrowl, Wolfhowl, Tyler Thomas and Christina Davis. Doors open at 6:00PM, music starts at 6:30PM. Tickets are $5 at the door
♥The Basement- Featuring performances by: KALIMA, Breaux, My Final Estate, Hands of the Martyr, Machines of Man. Doors at 6:30PM, music starts at 7:00PM $5 in advance, $7 at the door

♥The Sand Trap- Polomina-You can call it Americana, alt-country, roots music, or country rock, but when you strip it down and throw out all the labels, all that'€™s left is kick ass rock and roll!
Brewskis- Were-Wolf Afro
Borrowed Earth Emporium- Tonight's open mic night will be accepting donations for money to build a well through STAND at WSU. Come and join in and share your talents.
♥African Advocate Silent Auction and Dinner- fundraiser for Weber State students' travel expenses to Ghana, Africa. In Ghana, students and faculty alike will participate in humanitarian projects including the distribution of bicycles (100% of which were donated by the Ogden community and later repaired by our good friends at the Ogden Bicycle Collective, Youth Impact, and Weber State) to women in rural areas to better enable them to gain upward economic mobility as well as to nurses for better physical mobility in reaching patients. Students will also be participating in clinical work to evaluate procedures that can be implemented in order to improve air quality in Ghana, as many workers work in toxic environments, such as tar pits, where their health is greatly compromised. Toxic environments like these contribute to a lower life expectancy and lower quality of life.
