As usual Wednesday is jam packed with awesomeness. I am getting over my cold and have mustered up enough energy to clean the heck out of my house. something about being sick gives me an overwhelming urge to sanitize EVERYTHING. I don't know if you know this but Pippi long-stockings is my hero and today i plan on strapping scrubbers to my boots and skating around the house. Oh how i love a clean house, all 5 minutes that it lasts for in a house with a three year old. In other news i have a new article up in sloucher zine so go check it out HERE.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS
YOGA- Jill Sjoblom, RYT will hold a daytime restorative Yoga workshop at the Eccles Community Art Center, 2580 Jefferson Avenue, Ogden on Wednesdays from noon to 1 p.m.
WSU- Party Hearty! Join the movement to live a heart-healthy life! Proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association. Be part of this great charity event hosted by WSU and some of your favorite zumba instructors. $5, 7PM

OUTDOORS
NATURE CENTER-Did you know that there are eight endangered or threatened species of fish that call Utah home? Spend an hour with our naturalist and learn other cool facts about Utah's diverse fish. Observe Least Chub in our aquarium and meet some of our resident fish eating birds. Meet in the Visitor's Center.


ART AND FILM
INDEPENDENT FILM SOCIETY-join us at the 'Independent Film Society' for some fun times getting to know your fellow film junkies in the local scene hear at the Ogden meetup at grounds for coffee on Harrison- 6PM
ECCLES-The Eccles Community Art Center, 2580 Jefferson Avenue, Ogden will exhibit the art of the members of the Utah Watercolor Society in Main Gallery, in the Carriage House Gallery the art work of Ryan Bouman of Harrisville


DANCE
COUNTRY DANCE- There are all kinds of Swing Dancin’, Two-Steppin’, and Line Dancin’. You’ll also see people doing the Country Waltz, the Cowboy Cha Cha, the Night Club Two-Step, the Tripple Step, the West Coast Swing and plenty of other kinds of dancing.
Wednesday Nights 8:30 to Midnight. $4 before 9:00 and $5 after at Historic Union Station 2501 Wall Ave.

FORUMS AND WORKSHOPS

COMMUNITY EVENTS
WSU- 15th Annual Storytelling Festival presents the National Storytellers Concert “Williams Tell” featuring storytellers Willy Calflin, Bill Harley and Bil Lepp with Omar and Lori Hansen, 6:30 p.m., Peery’s Egyptian Theater (2415 Washington Blvd., Ogden), free, 801-626-6629 or jmitchell@weber.edu.
STORY TELLING FESTIVAL- 15th WSU Storytelling Festival. Listeners and tellers alike are eager to share the ancient art of oral storytelling in the three-day event, February 22-24, 2011.
This anniversary festival will feature three favorite national storytellers: Willy Claflin, Bill Harley, and Bil Lepp, who will join forces in a-once-in-a- lifetime collaboration, "Williams Tell." In addition, festival and student storytellers will add their voices to the celebration.
Festival events will be held at Weber State University, David Eccles Conference Center and Perry's Egyptian Theater in Ogden, Utah; at the Davis Conference Center in Layton, Utah; and at area schools. All Storytelling Festival events are FREE of CHARGE except the Storytelling Festival Dinner on Tuesday Evening. For dinner tickets contact: Judith Mitchell at 801-626-6626.
