saturday- where did spring go? at 10:13 AMSaying that i was disappointed when i woke up this morning to find that the blue skies were gone is an understatement. But its no surprise that spring is known for its erratic weather and in no time we will all be trying to escape the heat of summer. oh summer you just cant come fast enough. To get your mind of the gloom and doom of today and the knowledge of the snow storm coming tomorrow head out to one of tonight's rad shows. ♥MOJOS rocks Saturdays- MILAGRE of Brooklyn, NY will be performing in Ogden live@mojos. Milagre is signed by Kill Rock Stars. Local bands are OLD WORLD (formerly Matt Ben Jackson) will be offering their newly pressed CD, Descriptive, Marny Proudfit, Kat Day and more... This will be an amazing show. 7pm/7bux. ♥Brewskis Saturday showcase- mullet hatchet- all southern rock all the time just check out their promo video HERE ♥Acoustic Saturdays at the bee with brett turner- The music of Brett Turner has something most musicians only dream of. With guitar riffs that rival Tom Petty, lyrical storytelling reminiscent Sheryl Crow and Bob Dylan, and the ability to portray the rock and roll spirit of Mr. Johnny Cash himself, this talented one-man band is inventing his own genre. While touring the country promoting his debut studio album 'All Across America' Brett's infectious tunes have spread to fans young and old. As he continues to grow as a singer, songwriter, and performer, his style and stage presence have become unmatchable and all his own. 'All Across America' boasts ads on Spike TV and MTV2 and has been highly praised for its originality, and its ability to warrant the question, which song is my favorite? ♥Wine cellar's 7th anniversary with shaky trade-Returning for a second appearance....this band gives you all that, and then some! And, if ya missed 'em at the Mardi Gras Pirate Party...then here's another chance! Don't let the "Good Times" miss ya (again)!! They gonna fill you up....with they "funky" stuff!Cover: $5 WEBER STATE EVENTS ♥WSU’s College of Science, Ott Planetarium and the Museum of Natural Science will host Science Saturday featuring a series of shows, presentations and hands-on activities, noon-5 p.m., Lind Lecture Hall Ott Planetarium, free, 801-626-6871 or weber.edu/planetarium/. ♥WSU women’s softball vs. North Dakota*, noon & 2 p.m., Wildcat Softball Complex, free, 801-626-6012.
