Thursday- spring music, punk bars and BFF's at 11:06 AM

Today is one of those days that i just want to laze about watching he-man with my daughter and eating pie. After working my butt off writing, blogging, over volunteering and being a full time mama to a rambunctious toddler who knows how to destroy a house in 3.2 seconds... I think i deserve a little down time. But tonight i plan on heading over to Mojos ( weather permitting, hay it is my "day off" after all!) and dancing like a Muppet with the huntress (said rambunctious toddler). What are your plans for this slightly gloomy day with a hint of storms on the horizon?Here are some events to get you started!

♥Grounds for coffee spring music series w/chimney birds- If Mae West met Neil Young, it would sound a little something like The Chimney birds. Join us for a night of music we like to call folk mayhem. No cover, up close and personal, and the best chai in town. Come have some java with your old mama. 8 to 10pm with 3 dollar slices of pizza from Pizza Runner.
♥kamikazes-kicking off our Thurs night pool tournaments again! Tournament starts at 7:00. $5.00 buy-in. Come on down and show us your skills! Have a great day!

-WSUSA and the College of Applied Science and Technology will present “Secrets to Success” with motivational speaker Eric Thomas “The Hip Hop Preacher,” noon, Shepherd Union Ballroom A, free, 801-626-7785.

-WSU Outdoor program will host a kayak roll session, 7-9 p.m., Swenson Building pool, $20/$8 (bring your own boat), 801-626-6373.
