Friday Friday Friday! fun! fun! fun! at 4:53 PMToday I'm blogging late because i had an incredible day biking to the hot springs and splashing around and then hiking to a picnic and biking along the river. I got tan and ate a ton of salsa and donuts and pretty much had the best day EVER! It isn't over yet and there are a ton of events happening tonight so read on dear blog followers because its Friday night! Queen Bee Grand opening- The Queen Bee is the go-to place for Utah's best chocolates, great reads, and classic toys & games. We also have some of the most unique gifts available in the state. We are an exclusive retailer for Beatriz Ball, Bluebird Candies, and others! We're stuffed to the ceiling with goodies and want to share our finds with you! Door prizes, drawings, treats, games, and fun ALL DAY! We will also have our first Local's Nook Night from 6:00-8:00 PM on historic 25th: come and meet our first famous local couple and see all of their favorite things! Standard examiner battle of the bands- Come see the High school bands duke it out for prizes and glory! The school with most in attendance gets $500 towards their music program! A.M Revelator & the Rugs- Come catch BJ drum in his NEW BAND The Rugs along w/ AM REV!!I'll be going to this show to review for the blog and other publications! Sand trap- Red dog revival at 9:30 pm Weber state events- WSU’s Mary Elizabeth Dee Shaw Gallery will host the WSU Spring Bachelor of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibit, Monday through Friday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday noon-5 p.m., Kimball Visual Arts Center Shaw Gallery, free, weber.edu/dova/ or 801-626-7689. WSU’s Mary Elizabeth Dee Shaw Gallery will host a reception for the WSU Bachelor of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibit, 7-9 p.m., Kimball Visual Arts Center Shaw Gallery, free, weber.edu/dova/ or 801-626-7689. (Exhibit runs through April 29.) The Ogden LDS Institute presents its annual spring variety show, 7:30 p.m., Val A.
