Queen bee grand opening- We're stuffed to the ceiling with amazing finds and want to share them all with you! Stop by today for chocolate, fun, games, door prizes, drawings, and in-house jewelry making ALL DAY! We'll also have Hopscotch, Storytime, and wonderful coloring pages for the kiddos! Record store day- Ogden Graywhale- SLUG Metal Showcase (7p-Midnight) Oldtimer, Reviver, Beyond This Flesh, Loom & Breaux. Walk a mile in her shoes- Are you man enough to "WALK A MILE IN HER SHOES"? This is a men's/women's march to stop gender discrimination, sexual assault and abuse on women. http://www.walkamiletoront Tournament of champions round 2- The Basement presents Tournament of Champions 2011 - Round 2. Doors open @ 7:00PM 7:30 - Sparks Fire, 8:15 - Merlin's Beard, 9:00 - Beargrowl, Wolfhowl. The winner will be announced immediately following the last band's performance, so stick around until the very end. Massacre at the wake, reaction effect, tezra- 2 full bars, Live music, Live DJ, Stripper Pole, Pool Tables and Drink Specials..........Come get some at kamikazes. Earth day celebration: A HUGE day is on tap for the Ogden Nature Center's annual Earth Day Celebration. We're packing the house with tons of earth-friendly ideas, booths, workshops and activities! Everything from renewable energy to backyard chickens will be part of the fun. Children love the water trailer and the rock climbing wall while adults enjoy taking home special plants from the native plant sale. Visit www.ogdennaturecenter.org for full details! Acoustic Saturday's at the Bee- Although still a relative newcomer to the music scene (she began performing just a little over 2 years ago), Alicia Mcgovern is quickly standing out. This is her second appearance at the BEE, after her CD release party in November 2010 for her widely acclaimed... new CD, "Words Through the Seasons". Charting on the Folk Radio charts at #5 in December of 2010, and on the EuroAmericana Chart at #2 for February 2011, this sophomore CD is getting rave reviews.
