Jeff's official takeover of Sunday! (Religious strike-teams inbound) at 10:56 AMHey everyone out there in Indie Ogden readerdom... I am a bit intimidated by the position that I now have here with Indie Ogden. I am a staff writer, and member of a very talented, creative hive of activity. Mikaela has worked very hard for quite some time to make this an amazing experience for everyone, and most of the time without the recognition for her efforts that she deserved. She started asking for some people to come forward on her Facebook page, and help by writing some guest articles for her blog, because she was starting a new job, and was already working on this blog for way too many hours per day, and was worried about it's future. I was more than happy to oblige, considering I love to express myself however I can, in any creative medium. So, we talked, and the Zombie Survival Guide: Ogden came of that, and I was excited. So far, it has been received very well, and I was invited to a staff meeting at her home. There I met everyone else, and realized that this has the potential to be such a wonderful publication, really giving the Northern Utah area a good chance to overcome the stigma that it has been labeled with, and really show how great of a town Ogden really is. It was then that the paranoia sunk in a bit. The people on this team are so talented, and this is going to be so special, and that is a bit intimidating, even for me. So, faithful readers, bear with me as I learn the ropes here at Indie Ogden, and I do what I can to make sure that your Sundays are not only filled with the spirit, but filled with the undead menace, sci-fi, beer, Frank Turner music, anti-hipster hipsterdom, Rock Band, and the smarmy, cynical ramblings of a boy that just wants to have a good time, and get to know an amazing area of our wonderful home. Just don't ask me to sing country music at karaoke. And, with that...Here are your Sunday comings and goings... He is a veteran of the battle for Endor, he was the drummer for the rock band Drive Shaft, and was a part of a secret genetics team at InGen until…”The Incident”. Nowadays, he spends his time as an independent filmmaker, with the Faded Sky Entertainment production company, and an avid arts advocate. You can usually find Jeff under the pseudo moniker, “Sookie” at local bars singing karaoke with his friends, and a cold PBR, (you have probably never heard of it though). He is also a HUGE stickler for using "Times New Roman" for everything. He enjoys his time with a really good book, horror films, indie music, pop music, corn dogs, coffee, beer, or trying to convince people that 28 Days Later is NOT a zombie film.
