Adventuring in ogden utah at 11:31 AMYesterday was my birthday and despite the feelings of impending doom, my sickness that spread through the family and the sporadic weather... i managed to have an amazing day. We stopped in Kaffe Mercantile for a pick me up latte before our hike up the hill to Taylor canyon trails for a birthday picnic. It was so much fun tromping around and taking silly pictures that we almost forgot to have our picnic. After a quick bite we were off again to pick some sage and find cool rocks but as the day wore on the weather looked like it was take a turn for the worst so off to fresh market we went to pick up mint chocolate ice cream and ingredients for strawberry shortcake. The weather cleared up after all and the short walk back home ended up being incredibly beautiful, truly a perfect day.
