Wild West Weekend in Ogden Utah at 2:21 PMI am so excited for this weekend! there are so many fun events happening to celebrate Ogden pioneer days and i can not wait to enjoy them all. According to the pioneer days website "Ogden Pioneer Days was first celebrated in the summer of 1934 after the charismatic Ogden City Mayor Harman W. Peery organized a western festival to boost the spirits of the locals and entice tourists to visit the city." There is everything from a wild west shoot out to rodeos and baseball games, i hear there is even a beard growing contest. So get out there and enjoy a hearty Ogden tradition!
